An independent United Nations inquiry<\/a>, published Tuesday, has found that Israeli forces purposefully targeted Palestinian children for murder, engaged in pedophilic acts with the children and involved themselves in the creation and distribution of child pornography. The actions taken by the Jewish State in Gaza amount to genocide<\/a>, crimes against humanity and war crimes, as well as war crimes in the occupied West Bank, according to the report.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe evidence shows that Palestinian children have been deliberately targeted and killed by the Israeli security forces,\u201d Srinivasan Muralidhar, Chair of the Commission said<\/a>. \u201cEven after the October 2025 ceasefire, children continue to be killed and seriously injured, with continued disregard by Israel for the ceasefire and for the protection owed to Palestinian children under international law.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pages 13 through 20 of the full report<\/a> document the deliberate targeting of children for murder by the Israeli forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Commission has investigated and documented cases demonstrating a consistent pattern of children being deliberately targeted by the Israeli security forces in Gaza,\u201d the report said on page 14. \u201cThese include cases of children being shot while trying to evacuate with their families and in places of refuge such as displacement camps, food distribution sites or other locations across Gaza. The Commission has collected, analysed and preserved videos, photographs and medical reports, including CT scans, and reviewed investigative reports by several independent entities. The Commission has also interviewed many witnesses, including medical professionals, and consulted two independent forensic pathologists in its analysis of the following incidents.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Israeli military culture encourages the deliberate murder of children, according to the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Commission notes a broad pattern of a permissive military culture in which Israeli soldiers are encouraged to directly target Palestinian children with or without directives from superior commanders,\u201d the report said on page 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About 30%<\/a> of those killed in Gaza were children, some of whom would have died as part of Israel\u2019s \u201ctarget practice,\u201d according to the testimony of one physician.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBased on the clustering of injuries and the targeted body parts, I assess that the Israeli soldiers have been deliberately shooting teenage boys in a game of target practice \u2013 a different body part being targeted on different days\u2026 There is a very clear pattern that suggest this is a deliberate aiming of different body parts [of children],\u201d a doctor who visited Gaza as part of a medical mission said, according to page 13 of the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pages 29 through 34 of the report<\/a> document the pedophilic activities, which generally involved Israeli forces stripping Palestinian children and teens naked, photographing and videotaping them in sexually degrading circumstances or making them dance in the nude, forcing teenagers to wear diapers, beating and torturing the the genitals of minors and full on child rape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Commission previously found that adult male detainees were subjected to rape and other forms of sexual and gender-based violence in detention. In addition to its previous finding, the Commission has received new information from an organisation concerning sexual and gender-based violence against boys in detention, involving rape, threats of rape, sexual assault, violence to the genitals, forcible stripping and humiliating acts while stripped by the Israeli security forces,\u201d the report said on page 31. \u201cOne boy reported being raped on more than one occasion by different guards.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Israeli forces utilized Palestinian minors for the creation and distribution of child pornography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSince 7 October 2023, Palestinian boys have been photographed and filmed in humiliating and degrading circumstances while subjected to acts of a sexual nature,\u201d the report said on page 29.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMost of the footage was first published on Israeli text messaging groups and later disseminated on a popular social media platform,\u201d the report said on page 30. \u201cThe Commission\u2019s analysis of the videos and photos indicates that most were taken by Israeli soldiers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pedophilic activity by Israeli forces is not an isolated incident, according to the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTestimonies received by the Commission from released child detainees, especially teenage boys, from Gaza describe being stripped, forced to remain naked or in diapers, and subjected to genital beatings and other forms of sexualized torture carried out in front of other prisoners as a method of humiliation and domination,\u201d the report said on page 31. \u201cSeveral organizations have documented sexual violence against Palestinian children from Gaza and West Bank in Israeli detention as a systematic and integral component of the prison system\u2019s torture regime, far beyond isolated incidents.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
