Bill Lee (R) was signing legislation to do away with Tennessee\u2019s concealed carry permit requirement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lee tweeted a photo of himself signing the legislation to do away with the permit requirement. The tweet included a shoutout to the NRA:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>I signed constitutional carry today because it shouldn\u2019t be hard for law-abiding Tennesseans to exercise their&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/2A?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">#2A<\/a>&nbsp;rights. Thank you members of the General Assembly and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NRA?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">@NRA<\/a>&nbsp;for helping get this done.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/xv2ZenOEZq\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">pic.twitter.com\/xv2ZenOEZq<\/a><\/p><p>\u2014 Gov.
