(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kktv.com\/2025\/04\/17\/mexican-nationals-charged-after-found-with-around-180000-rounds-ammo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">KKTV<\/a>\/Gray News) &#8211; The U.S. Attorney\u2019s office said two Mexican nationals are facing charges after thousands of rounds of ammunition were found in their vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fremont County deputies said they stopped a vehicle in Canon City on March 26.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Officials said deputies searched the vehicle and ended up finding around 150 boxes of .308 ammunition and another 30 boxes of 7.62 ammunition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The men arrested were identified as 41-year-old Caesar Ramon Martinez Solis and 24-year-old Humberto Ivan Amador Gavira of Mexico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both have been charged with unlawful possession of ammunition by an alien admitted under a nonimmigrant visa, officials said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Authorities said the case is part of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/dag\/media\/1393746\/dl?inline\">Operation Take Back America<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Aspen Andrews and Jordan Gartner Published: Apr. 17, 2025 at 5:31 PM EDT FREMONT COUNTY, Colo.
