Border Czar Tom Homan was met with protests by unhinged leftists as he visited the New York State Capitol Wednesday to tell elected officials not to impede his push to prosecute and deport criminal illegal aliens.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Far-left activists shouted and carried signs at the Capitol building in Albany, as Homan arrived to meet with the state\u2019s minority Republican officials, touting support for a new state bill similar to the Trump administration\u2019s Laken Riley Act and blasting New York\u2019s \u201cGreen Light Law\u201d providing driver\u2019s licenses to illegals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSanctuary cities are going to get exactly what they don\u2019t want: more agents in the community,\u201d the former ICE director stated, adding, \u201cWe\u2019ll double the man-force if we have to. Rather than one officer arresting a bad guy, now I have to send a whole team.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNew York State, you\u2019ve got to change your sanctuary status and if you don\u2019t, get out of the way. We\u2019re going to do our job,\u201d Homan warned Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Homan also took the opportunity to commend Democrat New York City Mayor Eric Adams\u2019 efforts helping the Trump administration tackle the illegal alien situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI sat down with the guy; I saw a career cop in him really concerned about making New York City safer,\u201d said Homan, discussing Adams. \u201cAnd let me be fair in this: not every criminal in New York City is an alien; not every alien\u2019s a criminal, (a) public safety threat, but there\u2019s some that are. So, I think he shares a feeling with me \u2014 if we make New York safer by removing public safety threats \u2026 that\u2019s less he has to deal with and makes the community safer.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The New York Post reports<\/a>: \u201cState troopers hauled Mamdani away from Homan, but didn\u2019t arrest him or any other protesters.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
