These admissions contradict Meta\u2019s earlier claims in court that its censorship decisions were made independently, without government influence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Zuckerberg\u2019s admissions raise questions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zuckerberg\u2019s revelations have added fuel to CHD\u2019s case. In January, less than 24 hours after CHD petitioned the Supreme Court, Zuckerberg announced Meta would end its third-party fact-checking program, a move seen by many as an attempt to distance the company from its controversial censorship practices.
