USCCB has been paid by the federal government for refugee resettlement services since 1975.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the Biden Presidency, USCCB\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usccb.org\/about\/financial-reporting\">reported federal contracts and grants revenue<\/a> for refugee assistance has increased dramatically:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2019 revenue: $14.6 million<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2020 revenue: $20.2 million<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2021 revenue: $67.5 million<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2022 revenue: $122.6 million<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to USASpending, USCCB has been awarded over $450 million in refugee assistance grants since 2021. These grant awards include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>$138 million for refugee reception and placement services, with $38.4 million specifically for evacuated Afghan refugees<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$110 million for the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.acf.hhs.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/documents\/orr\/preferred-communities-program-guidelines.pdf\">Preferred Communities Program<\/a>\u201d (refugee aid program established in the 1990\u2019s by the Office of Refugee Resettlement, includes one year of comprehensive assistance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$48.8 million for USCCB\u2019s Unaccompanied Alien Children program<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$66.1 million for general post-resettlement refugee assistance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">USASpending lists Commonwealth Catholic Charities these sub-recipient programs are licensed child placement agencies experienced in providing services for vulnerable children and immigrant populations, including unaccompanied children.
