Authorities in Texas encountered dozens of \u2018child migrants\u2019 and Special Interest Aliens who illegally crossed the southern border in a large group this week.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Monday, the Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) rounded up a mob of illegals near Eagle Pass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TxDPS spokesman Lt. Chris Olivarez shared photographs and footage of the bust, along with further details about the subjects who were taken into custody.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The group included family groups, 23 unaccompanied children \u2013 16 boys\/7 girls. Just days prior, nearly 30 more lone children and 14 Special Interest Aliens from Iran, Egypt, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo were identified within a group of 165 illegals from across the globe who entered just north of Eagle Pass in Quemado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Generally, an SIA is a non-U.S. person who, based on an analysis of travel patterns, potentially poses a national security risk to the United States or its interests.  Often such individuals or groups are employing travel patterns known or evaluated to possibly have a nexus to terrorism.  DHS analysis includes an examination of travel patterns, points of origin, and\/or travel segments that are tied to current assessments of national and international threat environments.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
