Authorities in Texas encountered dozens of ‘child migrants’ and Special Interest Aliens who illegally crossed the southern border in a large group this week.
On Monday, the Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) rounded up a mob of illegals near Eagle Pass.
TxDPS spokesman Lt. Chris Olivarez shared photographs and footage of the bust, along with further details about the subjects who were taken into custody.

DHS defines Special Interest Alien thusly:
Generally, an SIA is a non-U.S. person who, based on an analysis of travel patterns, potentially poses a national security risk to the United States or its interests. Often such individuals or groups are employing travel patterns known or evaluated to possibly have a nexus to terrorism. DHS analysis includes an examination of travel patterns, points of origin, and/or travel segments that are tied to current assessments of national and international threat environments.
In May, federal authorities revealed more than 52,000 “Special Interest Aliens” had already been encountered at U.S. borders in Fiscal Year 2024, which ended on September 30.
