Over the time span of the past quarter century America has seen and heard Pat Shannan reporting "the other side of the news." He first told us the truth about the federal rubout of Gordon Kahl in 1983. "A legalized murder," he called it, "if there ever was one."

While with "The People's Radio Network" in Florida, Pat covered the federal attacks on the Weaver family in Idaho, the Branch Davidian church in Texas, the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City, and the Freemen in Montana. The mainstream news media never reported the truth about these and other government-instigated incidents, but Pat Shannan has always tried to keep history in accord with the facts.

In 1998, he went on staff with Media Bypass magazine. As its roving investigative reporter, he submitted stories with the hidden facts behind the headlines that the MSM kept concealed. His "Pat Shannan's Musings," became a popular editorial column wherein he shared his thoughts on a variety of subjects, just as he does with his weekly news program now on this network. He stayed with that periodical until its demise in 2003.

Currently, Pat is a contributing editor with American Free Press in Washington D.C.
